General Terms and Conditions (AGB) – CoralBay Bungalows Solarte

1. Check-In / Check-Out

We want your stay to be smooth from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave:

• Check-In: From 3:00 PM (please arrive before 8:00 PM)

• Check-Out: By 11:00 AM

2. Cancellation & Refunds

 

We understand that plans can change. Here’s how cancellations work:

​

• Cancel 45 days or more before arrival: Full refund (minus any transaction fees)

• Cancel 44 days or less: No refund can be issued

• No-shows: The full stay will be charged

 

Life happens – we strongly recommend taking out travel insurance, just in case. If we ever have to cancel your stay due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ll of course refund all payments made.

3. Payment Options & Fees

We accept:

​

• PayPal (5.5% fee – non-refundable)

• Bank Transfer (international fee: $37.50 + 7% tax – non-refundable)

 

These fees are set by the providers and we unfortunately can’t refund them.

4. Booking Details

​

• The person booking must be at least 18 years old

• Rates are based on 2 guests per bungalow

• Only registered guests can use the property – third-party visitors are only allowed with our OK

• Full payment is required at the time of booking
   

5. Age Policy

We welcome guests aged 12 years and up – thank you for your understanding.

6. Be Considerate

We’re all here to relax. Please respect your fellow guests, neighbors, and our team. If things get too loud or uncomfortable for others, we may have to step in – and nobody wants that.
 

7. Internet Use

 

WiFi is available and free. It’s great for browsing, chatting, streaming a movie. But please avoid heavy downloads or online gaming so that everyone can enjoy a stable connection.

8. Damage & Replacement Policy – CoralBay Bungalows Solarte

At CoralBay, we take great care in providing high-quality equipment, thoughtful design, and durable materials throughout our bungalows and shared areas. If something goes missing or gets damaged beyond regular wear and tear, we kindly ask guests to cover the cost of replacement. Below is a transparent list of estimated replacement values.

• Mattress (if irreparably damaged): $1,000

• Curtain Set (per window or terrace door – 2 long panels): $100

Note: We understand that accidents can happen. Please report any incidents to us as soon as possible – we’re always happy to help resolve things smoothly. This list is intended to be fair and transparent, and we appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain CoralBay in top condition for all our guests.

9. Smoking

Smoking is allowed on the private terraces and in clearly marked outdoor areas. Inside the bungalows, smoking is not permitted.
 

10. Pets & Service Animals

We’re animal lovers, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets or service animals.
 

11. Privacy & Personal Data

We treat your data with care and only use it to manage your booking. You’ll find all details in our [Privacy Policy]. Please don’t include personal info in any guestbook entries.
 

12. House Rules – Simple & Fair

​

• Quiet time: After 11:00 PM

• No illegal substances

• No outside visitors without permission

• Please don’t take towels or sheets off the property (beach towels are okay!)

• Help us save water and electricity – turn off the power when you leave the bungalow
   

13. Staying Over the Water – A Note on Safety

Being above the ocean is a dream – but also a responsibility. Please be careful at all times. We can’t be held responsible for accidents, injuries or losses. Use of the sea, kayaks, paddleboards etc. is at your own risk.
 

14. If Things Go Wrong

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without refund if guests do not respect these terms. But we really hope it never comes to that.
 

15. Governing Law

Our terms are based on the laws of the Republic of Panama. Place of jurisdiction: Bocas del Toro.
